U.S Coast Guard rules limit each tour to a maximum of 6 passengers.
Due to the limited number of passengers per trip, it’s strongly recommended that tickets be bought in advance. However, you can purchase tickets at the dock.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure for check-in.
The boat is docked at North Cove Marina, which is directly adjacent to the 9/11 Memorial on the Hudson River.

NYCbySEA will wait an additional 5 minutes after the scheduled departure time. However, out of courtesy to other passengers the boat will depart after 5 minutes, and any passengers arriving late will need to reschedule by calling 1.646.660.3222.
No refunds will be issued within 7 days of scheduled departure.

NYCbySEA will allow passengers to reschedule any booked excursion to a future regularly scheduled tour, subject to availability.

The boat provides enough cover for passengers in the event of rain. However, NYCbySEA places the utmost importance on the safety of its passengers and reserves the right to delay or postpone any excursion due to severe weather. A full refund will be issued for any cancelled tour that isn’t rescheduled.
No. Restrooms are reserved for Crew members only. A number of public restrooms are located in the restaurants directly surrounding North Cove Marina.  We strongly encourage passengers to use facilities before boarding.
Smoking is strictly prohibited onboard NYCbySEA
Food and drinks are prohibited for Sightseeing Tours, but are allowed for passengers booking Private Charters.

NYCbySEA does sells light refreshments for passengers taking the Sightseeing Tour.

Absolutely! We encourage you to take all the pictures you’d like! NYCbySEA will also videotape the trip on a GoPro HD camera and offer the video as a souvenir.
Tours are in English. However, a written translation of the tour will be available in Spanish, French, Italian and German.
Gratuities for captains are greatly appreciated.
Life jackets will be provided for every passenger, however, only children 12 and under need to wear life jackets while onboard.
